Trump's Family Member Receives Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for major competition

This young athlete boasts substantial online following

Kai Trump will have plenty of well-known supporters as she makes her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates multiple international courses and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just stay calm."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she explained.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on running the country, so he's quite busy."

While still amateur, Kai has played in only three events in 2024 and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He suggested me to play, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

Kai will face some of the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, specifically with younger fans.

The young star boasts millions of followers and recently launched a personal fashion and living brand.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
